Reviews of Il Palmento Hotel Relais

The rooms at Il Palmento Hotel Relais are absolutely stunning. They have been carefully restored in the historic trulli style, with elegant and refined touches. Every detail has been tended to, creating a truly beautiful and comfortable space. As a guest, I felt like I was stepping back in time while still enjoying modern comforts.
The only thing I didn't love was the seating area in some of the units. It was a bit small for my liking, but I understand that others might still find it cozy and charming.

It was a really lovely 5 days, the pool and the rooms were very nice. We had dinner at the hotel on our first evening and the food (particularly the antipasti) was super. We were impressed that they provided an empty fridge and didn't mind us bringing in our own drinks etc.
I think that they are really missing a trick not having a hotel bar, a pre or post dinner drink would have been lovely. The directions to the hotel provided via Booked.net were awful! We got really lost, the hotel is in the middle of no-where and better instructions must be provided to help future travelers.

Cute trulli style cottages on beautifully landscaped property. Very quiet and peaceful.
Loud pop music playing (selected by staff) while we trying to relax at the pool. Risky thing to do if guests don't have the same taste in music as hotel employees. Breakfast was not replenished quickly enough and our selection seemed picked over.

I always stay at this hotel in Locorotondo. The staff helped me on my first visit, and I have no regrets coming back. It has everything I need: Wi-Fi, free parking, 24-hour reception, a restaurant, and more. I am even coming back for Christmas! 3-4 amenities: Wi-Fi, free parking, 24-hour reception, restaurant.

Very nice complex Pleasant staff
Too few staff Food cold and at times undercooked; Little choice of dishes; service slow Without a car very difficult to leave and return. No taxis at al in Locaratundo so reliant on hotel to transport us at 15 euros a time We stayed at 5 hotels in a month in Italy including a Hilton and great hotels in Florence and Conversano. Il P was the most expensive. Why?

My partner and I had a fantastic time at the oasis of peace that is Il Palmento. The beautifully maintained gardens and peaceful atmosphere made for a truly rejuvenating experience. The helpful staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and the food was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the local produce and the delicious daily menu options. The isolated countryside location added to the charm and tranquility of the hotel. We highly recommend this hidden gem for those seeking a relaxing and intimate getaway. we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

A beautiful hotel in a great location. Lots of beautiful towns to visit, a great zoo/safari close by and a lovely beach around 20 minute drive away. You'll need to a hire a car. Friendly staff and everything super clean.
The only small problem we had was the timing of dinner, which was too late for young children (after 8pm and the staff were reluctant to prepare anything earlier for the children). But that is typical of Italian hotels.

I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. The cleanliness was impressive, and the facilities were top-notch. The staff was accommodating and made me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The location was perfect - close to the coast, surrounded by beautiful towns with a zoo and safari park nearby. Additionally, the breakfast had a wide variety of food and was delicious. Parking and transportation were hassle-free on the hotel premises. this hotel provided the perfect atmosphere to get the full experience of this city.
Nothing, all was good.

We couldn't have asked for better value for our money at Il Palmento. The trullo-shaped room was charming and comfortable, and the hotel's location in the Apulian countryside was simply beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and were always friendly and helpful.
Hotel breakfast could use some improvement with fresher options.

This hotel is mind-blowing! The location is super, with lots of beautiful towns to visit nearby, a great zoo/safari, and a lovely beach just a 20-minute drive away. The staff is friendly and the cleanliness is jaw-dropping. The hotel itself is a beautiful trullo, with rooms that are cozy but spacious enough for a family of four. The garden and sports area, including a basketball court, are a nice touch, along with the swimming pool. The parking garage is safe and secure. The hotel's restaurant is the cherry on top, with incredibly delicious and reasonably priced food. We had the best meal of our entire trip there. this hotel provides a peaceful and relaxing experience, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming trullo hotel. The room was cozy yet spacious enough for our family of four, with an extra bedroom and a small bed space. The hotel's garden and sports area, including a basketball court, were delightful, and the swimming pool would have been a hit with the kids if it was open at night. The locked and secure parking garage was a bonus. The location was perfect for exploring both Alberobello and the adorable town of Locorotondo. And let's not forget the highlight: the restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing, some of the best we had during our entire trip to Italy. We had a peaceful and relaxing time here.
Would recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel is perfect for adventure travelers wanting to explore the surrounding area. It's central to all the attractions and only a short distance down the hill from the old farm. The rooms are traditional, spacious and well-maintained with comfortable beds. The bathroom is clean and fully equipped with all the necessary toiletries. The service is exceptional, with friendly and courteous staff always on hand to assist. Breakfast is delicious, with a range of fresh and tasty options. The pool area is beautiful and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
The only downside is the restaurant could be a little more varied in its menu options.

We had a great experience staying at Il Palmento Hotel Relais, a historical Trullo. The room, although not huge, was spacious enough for our family of four, with an additional bedroom and a small bed space. The hotel's garden and sports area, including a basketball court, were very nice, as was the swimming pool. The locked and safe parking garage was a plus. The location was also ideal, with a short drive to both Alberobello and the charming town of Locorotondo. We especially enjoyed the delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was one of the best meals we had during our 10-day trip in Italy.
All was good. 😊
